How do I work as an osteopath?
The first consultation is always an intake interview and physical examination. During the conversation I try to collect all the symptoms and work with you to find the cause of the complaints.
Based on the diagnosis, I immediately start treatment. I always work with my hands and often use the musculoskeletal system (muscles and joints) to achieve your complaints. These can be mobilizing techniques, but also manipulations (squatting).
To treat other systems, I often use techniques on the skull, abdomen, chest, etc.
During the treatment process I always give a lot of advice about how to deal with the complaints and what you can do yourself to positively influence the complaints.

Our rates
Because I use different treatment methods and each treatment requires a different time and different expertise, I charge different rates, namely:
- Normal osteopathy consultation (about 45 minutes) € 87.50
- Short osteopathy consultation / child (30 minutes) € 58.50!!! Please note that this rate is used when treating children or for a short osteopathy consultation.
Doortast osteopathy treatments are (partially) reimbursed by various health insurers from the supplementary insurance package under alternative care. Check your policy in advance so that you know exactly what the options are.
